Buying integrated or built-in appliances

If you’re looking for an appliance to fit into your current kitchen, here are our top three tips for measuring up. The thing to focus on first is measuring the space in your kitchen.
  • Grab a tape measure, a pen and paper and head to the unit where your appliance will go. You’ll need to measure the space you’ve got, not your old appliance.
  • Measure a few different points, just in case the measurements vary in places. You’ll also need to take into account anything that might get in the way, like hinges and skirting boards.
  • You’ll need the height (H) from top to bottom, the width (W) from side to side and the depth (D) from back to front. Once you have this information, you’ll be able to see which products will fit the space you have available.

If you’re installing a brand new kitchen, then you’ve got more freedom to decide which appliances you’d like and where you want them to go. Here are some things you might want to consider.
  • By choosing appliances first, you can design your kitchen around them, utilising your workspace, depending on the size of your kitchen.our old appliance.
  • Order in advance and book a delivery slot in the future, you can change it at any time. You can order your appliances up to 4 weeks in advance. But, if your kitchen isn't ready in time, we can reschedule the delivery date for you.
  • Note down your appliance measurements for the kitchen planner to factor in.
  • Think about how you use the kitchen and what you do most. For example, how much fresh food do you buy, do you need lots of oven and hob space, have you got room for a full-size dishwasher or a slimline?
  • Also think about the most efficient layout. Is it easy to go from the fridge to the cooking area, or from the cooking area to the sink?
  • Do you have space for a range cooker, or would an eye-level oven make life easier? And, where are your gas and electric points? 

Delivery & installation tips

When it comes to delivery here are a few simple tips to help us get your appliance from the van and into your home safely.

  • Walk the path your new appliance will take when it arrives at your home. Look out for narrow points, awkward angles and double check dimensions to make sure we can fit your appliance up your stairs and through the halls.
  • We understand that schedules can change. If it’s easier, you can order your appliance weeks in advance and amend the delivery date at any time.
  • We offer an installation service and can disconnect and take away your old appliances.

Additional offers

You'll often see free gift, trade-in, cashback and extended warranty promotions which are offered by the appliance manufacturers. If a product is eligible for one of these offers, we'll make it clear in your search results and on the product page.

These offers will need to be claimed within a specified time from the date of your order, so check the terms and conditions for that specific offer.

Price Match Promise

We price match against any online retailer, such as Hirschs, Makro, Dion Wired, Game and many more.


  • The product on our competitor's site has to be identical to ours.
  • When we price match we include any delivery charges applied by the competitor. So, if the price of their appliance plus the delivery charge is more expensive than our appliance, we won't be able to match it.
  • The offer is not transferable.
  • The offer is only valid on the day you make your call, so make sure you don't miss out..

How to claim

If you've found your product cheaper somewhere else and it matches the criteria above, give us a ring on 011 568 9831 and we'll check it out for you. All you'll need when you call is:

  • The product number and price of the appliance you're interested in.
  • The web address of the competitor (sorry, no price comparison sites).
  • If everything checks out, we'll match their price. Simple.

Free 14 Day Returns

If you're not 100% happy with your new appliance or TV, just let us know within 14 days of delivery and you can return it for free with a full refund. See our Ts & Cs for information on how to cancel. Your refund will be made within 14 days of collection, including the costs of delivery.

If you've used the product

We're happy for you to unpack the item and inspect it properly, however, if you've used or installed it, we will only make a partial refund to cover the loss in value of the product. Please note, this could be up to 50% of the price of the item. Your refund will be made within 14 days of collection.

Other Services

Our 14 day cancellation policy also applies to any additional services you may have ordered (such as disconnection, recycling etc). If you've ordered any additional services for a product, these will automatically be cancelled when the order for that product is cancelled (unless the service has already been performed).

If you order an additional service and expressly choose for that service to be carried out within 14 days of order (by nominating your desired day of delivery or otherwise), then you are deemed to have waived your cancellation rights and we shall not be under any obligation to refund any charges paid for such additional services.

Faulty Products

If you think your product may be faulty, we’ll do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We'll ask you to provide information on the product and the problem, and may suggest an engineer’s visit to help identify the fault. If the product is faulty, we’ll offer you a resolution in accordance with your legal rights.
